Yamaha YTC5 Guitar Tuner Review

Yamaha YTC5 First Impressions

"The tuning seems accurate."

I have a couple other Yamaha pedals, so, I trust the brand. East to read digital readout and very user friendly. I just wouldn't record without first tuning with my 'reference' tuner. I primarily use it for acoustic guitars and ukuleles. UPDATE: Sent it back in exchange for another.

Yamaha YTC5 Final Thoughts

"Built in buffer is great too."

Then there's the durability and low cost. Yamaha products have proven solid & dependable in my experience. Also serves to counterbalance an iPad if you are using one for a sheet music holder. It was easy to use and easy to know when each string was in tune. All of the electronic devices were not up to par.
