"The new ones work perfect!"But as long as it gives me A440 standard tuning and signal mute, it's good to go. I once realized I had it set to violin, and that did not work at all! Other than that, they're both about equivalent. Has chromatic, bass, violin, guitar, ukulele tuning built in. Treble and bass knobs are great for shaping tone.
